This site was initially started because I was heading off on a canal boat for 2 months and wanted to keep my family updated on what I was up to. I then got back from the boat and it proved a success at it's initial purpose, but not much else was done with it once on dry land as I was busy earning money for my big trip to New Zealand. Now it is used to update family and friends from Queenstown on the other side of the world. I'll make it look nicer when a dull day arises, but the blue skies and snowy mountains around here continue to amuse me too much at the moment ;)
